Bentley has unveiled the Supersports, a highly track-focused, rear-wheel-drive iteration of its famous grand tourer that deliberately diverges from the brand's recent push toward hybrid powertrains and all-wheel-drive systems.

By removing the heavy electric hybrid components, omitting the rear passenger seats, and eliminating front-wheel power delivery, the British luxury automaker has created its lightest vehicle in nearly a century, weighing in at just under 2,000 kilograms. Under the hood, this driver-centric machine features a heavily upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 657 horsepower. To manage this power, the chassis is equipped with advanced active anti-roll suspension systems and high-performance racing tires, allowing the vehicle to achieve exceptional cornering force.\n\nThe vehicle's exterior design showcases aggressive and highly functional aerodynamic modifications, including a prominent carbon-fiber rear wing, custom front splitters, and a rear diffuser designed to generate substantial downforce that scales up at high speeds. Inside, the cabin balances pure performance with signature luxury, utilizing lightweight carbon-fiber materials alongside highly adjustable, comfortable electronic sports seats that hold passengers firmly during high-speed track maneuvers.
