A significant diplomatic rift has emerged in the international aerospace sector after several prominent American space companies, including SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Stoke Space, abruptly withdrew from a high-profile space summit in Paris hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The mass cancellation followed a briefing led by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). During this discussion, US officials expressed concern that the event was not a standard industry conference but rather a policy-oriented gathering where American firms might be pressured to endorse unfavorable regulatory positions, particularly regarding critical issues like spectrum sharing.
