Physint Release Date-Estimate, Gameplay, And Everything We Know

Following his work on the Death Stranding franchise, video game designer Hideo Kojima is developing a new tactical espionage action title called Physint.

Currently in its early conceptual phases, this highly anticipated project is planned as a spiritual successor to the acclaimed Metal Gear Solid franchise, initiated partly due to strong enthusiast demand following the creator's recovery from a severe illness. Kojima intends to push the boundaries of real-time graphics technology to make the interactive experience virtually indistinguishable from live-action cinema. Although early estimates point to a remote launch window around the end of the decade, the project has already secured a high-profile international cast, including actors Bill Skarsgard, Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe, who have already participated in physical scans and costume fittings.

The administrative history of the game has already undergone a significant transformation. Although Sony's PlayStation division originally backed the title, the parent company eventually chose to sever ties with the studio. Industry reports suggested that this decision stemmed from corporate concerns regarding budget overruns, missed deadlines, and underwhelming commercial returns from prior collaborative endeavors. Microsoft's Xbox division subsequently stepped in to rescue the project, offering its publishing resources and technical support to co-develop the title for personal computers and future console hardware. Despite this disruptive shift in financial backing, the studio has reassured audiences that conceptual progress remains steady and active under the new partnership.
